Cookie Bag

This is one of my submissions for the Plush You II show at Schmancy Toys!!

The bag made from clear vinyl with snaps, felt sticky back letters, and five chocolate chip cookies. Two of the cookies are sad because someone took a bite out of them!

Bazaar Bizarre & the Maker Faire

Bazaar Bizarre & the Maker Faire was amazing!

The weather at the Bazaar Bizarre was perfect, I had all the intentions of making more stuff but in the end I didn't have time, so my booth was a little sparse. To sum it up, I made all of my expenses back and had some left over to buy new goodies! So it was good learning experience, to say the least!

Just wanted to let you know that Heyday Fashion will be temporally,
closed starting April 1st, and will reopen April 25th, 2006.

We are preparing for a HUGE craft show in San Mateo, the Bazaar Bizarre!

The Bazaar Bizarre will take place within Make Magazine's Maker Faire!
Saturday April 22, 2006 10:00-6:00
Sunday April 23, 2006 10:00-5:00
At the Maker Faire in the San Mateo Fairgrounds

What is the Maker Faire you ask? The creators of Make Magazine, Robot Magazine, the MythBusters, and thousands of tech DIY enthusiasts, crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, science clubs, students, and authors will all be flocking to the San Mateo Fairgrounds to share inspiration, know-how, and spirited mischief-making.

... And Bazaar Bizarre will be right smack on the middle of it all!

All of our inventory will be there with discounted prices, so if you live in the area stop by and check out the goods!

All orders placed before April 1st, 2006 will be shipped out no later than Monday April 3rd, 2006

Sacramento News & Review

I got a special little surprise today! I received an order for an "I Luv Your Guts Monster", and in the check out field on my site, I have little box that asks "Where Did You Hear About Heyday Fashion?" Well usually I get some really informative tidbits written in there, like 'I forgot' or 'a friend' hahaha! Well today, after I got the order, the customer wrote that they heard about my site from SN&R. Which is the Sacramento News & Review, a free little publication here in Sacramento. I was baffled. So I go down to my local Starbucks, I've been wanting to try their gingerbread latte anyway (very good by the way), I pick up the SN&R and sure enough my little guys were on the front page. I had know idea they were going to do that! :)
